Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in a wonderful game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the casino, unlike the majority of other poker games that players wager against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about other, more advanced people winning their cash.

A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied choices.

It is also easier to gamble on for an extended time with basically a tiny bit of cash since, to lose, both of your hands must be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the dealer receives seven cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
