Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the dealer, not like most other poker games that players bet with other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about other, more experienced gamblers winning their $$$$.
Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game play, novices will be able to take their time and scheme without having to make quick decisions.
It’s also much simpler to play for an extended time with just a little amount of cash seeing as, to not win, both of your hands needs to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer gets seven cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
