Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the west in a wonderful game for beginner level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the house, not like nearly all other poker games that players compete with other players. By playing against the dealer, new players don’t need to be concerned about any other, more advanced gamblers winning their cash.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game play, newcomers can take their time and strategize without having to make quick choices.

It’s also much simpler to play for an extended time with basically a little bit of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the house gets 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
