Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the old Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the casino, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to worry about other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their moolla.
One more Pai Gow benefit is the fairly leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied decisions.
It’s also easier to participate in for a very long time with only a little bit of money after all, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a two card hand have to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
