Poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier declares "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s value is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with a sum in accordance with the original bet. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

• Equal for a pair or high card
• two to one for two pairs
• 3-1 for 3 of a kind
• four to one for a straight
• 5-1 for a flush
• seven to one for a full house
• twenty to one for a four of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• one hundred to one for a royal flush
