The essential detail here to always remember is other than the usual ranking of hands we have an additional winning hand which is "Five Aces" (4 Aces and the Joker). Astonishingly, 5 aces defeats all other hand yes, even a royal flush. Every player is given seven cards. These cards are arranged to make 2 hands; a two card hand and a five card hand. The 5 card hand has to rank higher or be equal to the 2 card hand.
After setting up the 2 hands, the cards are placed on the table with the faces down. Once on the table, you cannot touch them. The dealer will flip over their cards and assemble their hands. Each competitors hand is played against the croupier’s hands. Should the player wins 1 hand and loses the other, this is known as "push" and no money is lost or won. No Cost Poker Tournaments – The Biggest Deal Around!

by Colby on Monday, April 5th, 2010

Freeroll poker tournaments are daily competitions that happen on most of the best internet poker rooms. Freerolls are greatly admired by the poker betting community as they provide the poker enthusiasts the ability to win some real $$$$ without squandering any. The entry to these freerolls is – as the name suggests – cost-free and prize money can vary from a couple of bucks for placing to hundreds of dollars for capturing the huge freeroll texas hold’em poker tournaments.

So how come the poker sites have freerolls? Is it as a result of their extremely generous character and the fact that they earn vast amounts of cash so they feel a moral obligation to bestow a bit of it back?

What do you think!

No of course it is not, the reason that the great poker sites offer freerolls is to attract folks to their website.

Here is the theory condensed – You come across a poker site that has an excellent freeroll, it charges you zip to enroll in and you are able to acquire 100 dollars. You think "awesome!" and you head over to the poker site and join as a member so you can compete in the freeroll. You compete in and finish quickly and are ticked off largely because you believe you should have performed much better, or you get near the end and so you are wanting some additional excitement. What do you do? You bet some money at the poker room and play another poker game!

Frequently check out the freerolls for cash-out stipulations, you’ll almost always have to bet on a couple of hands for real $$$$$ before they allow you take the $$$$$ out. Often this is on a one to one basis, so if you capture twenty dollars at the no cost poker tournament you’ll need to have wagered for $20 in bonafide money in order for you to be able to extract the $$$$.
